No reason why not.

We've got a week and a half before another home game after tonight (not counting that stupid cup thing) so will be a great chance to get it out there - should be getting 6,000 home fans for this at least

I'm hoping to match what we had against Chesterfield last season so 7500.

Think there was 7000 for this fixture last season too.

Given Countys shambolic following to Lincoln and their form they might not even sell out

Note that the number of tickets available on stagstickets does not give you a good indication of how many tickets have been sold.

Why is this Martin? I always thought that if a seat is showing as unavailable on the ticket portal then it means it is sold.

In fairness Martin it does give an indicator but far from an accurate one given its floors that even prevent the ticket office accessing available tickets that have been locked.

I have noticed County have recently changed ticketing systems to ticketmaster which holds the tickets for 30 minutes plus booking fees.

Has anyone spoken to the club about doing away with the god awful over night system refresh to free up tickets? As opposed to a 30 minute time limit for example? Medoc who power the site claim to have 6 premier league clubs on their books and i doubt they'll have the same issues.

Surely this would be a minor upgrade and fixing this would likely aid ticket sales for games specifically like this. On the current system sell outs are almost impossible to achieve given the volume of locked seats that will no doubt magically appear again in the morning.

The online ticket system is bloody awful; it's archaic and we definitely need a better one. Whether it's through ticketmaster (which will have fee's associated with it for the end user and stags) or a much better custom one.

One that at least ties into current POS in place so that it all syncs together. Even going as far as a members login so that people can track their tickets and allow Stags to market where necessary.

Especially as we start to get bigger crowds, we need something in place

A seat or block being unavailable does not mean it has been sold. Blocks or seats may not have been released for sale for example.

It’s the biggest game of the season. Why don’t they just make every seat available that they’re allowed to? It’s not rocket science.

The stags ticket portal is an absolute bloody farce.

Remember them saying the west stand had basically sold out against Portsmouth and the crowd was 6800 or so. It’s absolute joke and creates a farce every time there’s a big game.

Someone actually goes against Better judgement who doesn’t follow Mansfield too often and goes on stagstickets might not bother, youd have better success in the Crystal maze (minus I supoose richard O’Brien)

You know, the management at the Wonk are so good at many aspects of running the club.

Why, oh why, do we have the most irritatingly inept approach to ticketing?

Just to refer back to what Martin and Dan were saying about seats / blocks not being released for sale. For example, on the ticket portal Blocks A,F,G,H in the IGL are displayed as no tickets available for the County game and for other games too. That's 4 whole blocks of seating unavailable to book online. I don't understand why this would be. Surely like Dan says, they should make every seat available. There are only 2 home stands after all so it can't be that difficult to manage?

Seats in these areas would suit me a lot better.

I think the principle of not releasing all blocks at the start is to potentially cut down on stewarding costs for a match. I think it's standard practice across clubs.

I have friends who come to the occasional Stags home game and they can't buy tickets for the seats next to me, because they don't make Block F IGL available for sale on Stags tickets. On match day the seats are usually empty, so they simply move seats. It's a bizarre situation, and makes these occasional supporters think twice about attending. There are already ST holders like myself in this block, so stewarding costs don't come into the equation.
