Walter Edwards RIP

Saddened to read of the passing of the oldest living ex player.

He was my cousin’s father in law.

RIP Walt.

Walter Edwards

Postby BilsthorpeStag » Fri Nov 09, 2018 8:20 pm

I noticed that we will be paying our respects to Walter Edwards before kick off on Sunday. Didn’t read anywhere he had passed away. Does anyone know when or where he was laid to rest? I remember he took my grandparents for a tour of the ground many moons ago. My grandad remembered him playing and it was nice to see them both reminiscing about Walter’s playing days. Lovely man. RIP.

Just spotted the link further down the message board. Forgive my ignorance. Still a top bloke though...
