Can anyone tell me the win percentage/points per game from him being in the team before he got injured and since then when he's been out?
Just interested to know, cheers.

It would be difficult to take someone out to accommodate him at present.

Explain please.
The club/Flitcroft took up their option to extend his contract after the end of last season. He was virtually ever present before getting injured. He may struggle to get back into starting line up when fit again but would be a very useful sub due to being able to play in a number of different positions.

The club did even more than that and actually negotiated a brand new contract with better terms with him.

Hes a very good player but I think hes just not a centre mid....
the times at oxford and burton where he looked unreal he was on the wing beating men and putting a good delivery into the box.. Hes hardly done that here.
I do feel though him being out might of done him some good and he'll be hungrier and back to his best. I like him and his 1000% effort, him being in the squad even if its on the bench will be great for us

No point keeping him if we can only fit him in at centre midfield, I still don't understand why Evans moved him there and why Flitcroft kept him in that position too.
I'm struggling to find space for him if we keep the 3/5/2 because he's best on the wing, a lot of clubs at this level would love to have him on the wing mind.

This.
Look at what happened to Mellis when he came back. Every player wants a piece of the action and Macca will be no different. Best competition for places for years at Town.

In midfield and GK yes, not upfront or defence.

He’ll provide some competition for Otis Kahn in that number 10 role

I think he would be ideal at right wing back.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Would rather have Macca out wide than CJ, after display against Cheltenham. Final delivery was poor.

He will be needed at some point in the season.
We are lucky to have him.

He is a Jaimie Mcguire with more ability.Incidentally I saw Mirfin in the car park before we set off to Whaddon Road.He seemed to be limping slightly.Like him as a player but can't see him playing for us again.

Macca still has a big part to play for us this season. At the moment Elsnik, Mellis and Khan seem hard to overlook, but maybe right wing-back IS the position for him. He certainly has the pressing game and defensive qualities to cover that position and out wide seems to be where he's best. I'd still rather have Whitey though.

Most often the case with CJ. Until the end product improves he'll always be Lge 2 standard and'll not progress.

Yesterday wasn't even Conference standard, he needs a spell on the bench if White is now fully fit and DF sticks with wing backs

Hamilton to me seems to be picked for his pace and very little else. I've never understood some of the anti McDonald comments, he's a hard working player , good set piece taker, I'd have him in in a heartbeat over Hamilton.

Give th e guy a break.
McDonald is recoveting from injury, will be like a new signing when fit.
Why do we always have to find a negative in eveything that happens?
Last week it was Walker and Rose before him.
Enjoy the ride, McDonald will fight for his place and do us proud.
3pts on Tuesday and we are in the P/O's.
