I must say, that was one of the best displays I've seen in a long time.

It was well organised too. A bit of a queue to get in but nothing too extreme.

Didn't hear anyone say a bad word about it! Loved the constant plugging of the family tickets, let's hope one or two come back for Tuesday.

The only downside was that I was hoping for a large bonfire - the Bishop Street Stand and those hoardings would have been perfect for this. Stick an effigy of Haslam on top and voila.

Well done Stags.

A bit of a queue to get in but nothing too extreme.

Bit of a queue! I was in the North Stand end and the queue was down as far as the turnstiles for the other end of the stand.

Guess if we start getting into the promotion spots then sell outs could be come the norm and there would be queues like that every match. That would keep the moaners busy on here complaining about having to queue to get in.

Great firework display but why do all fireworks have to have such loud bangs?

The British don't mind queuing. That's if the product is good. :)

Because they’re explosives?

No match report yet posted but seems to have been a very good night's entertainment.

Did the fireworks start at 7pm prompt?
How long did the fireworks last?

This would help in deciding for next year as it was probably a bit late for my five year old to attend given it was school in the morning.
Maybe next year depending on the timings?

Started around 7.05 think they lasted around 20 mins. Great night . Queues at north stand end were slow moving and long. But all in all well done to all involved

Did you mean to say : “Prétentieux, moi”?

Why should it be considered pretentious to compliment someone on their ability to spell correctly a couple of foreign words?

Nay sir. Your snide regarding my comment simply demonstrates your ignorance.

It is verbatim line delivered by Sybil Fawlty (Prunella Scales) in the classic BBC comedy series - Fawlty Towers.

I was only talking about the spelling, not the choice of words or ability to quote from the classics.

...and you are missing the point. Sybil was not saying “pretentious” in French. But then, having used the French word for “me”, she was being pretentious.

May I suggest you apply ridicule with appropriate caution in future?
