Agree, the amount of substitutions in the first half last season smacked of desperation and incompetence. Similarly this season we've become predictable and rarely do substitutes have an impact on the result.
Cox has been mentioned on this thread and what gave me more hope that he would change our fortunes was his ability to learn from mistakes. Yes he tinkered but he was willing to acknowledge what he was doing wasn't working and try and try until something did. Flitcroft seems stuck on an idea and players he's bought in and isn't willing to budge, to his detriment at the minute.
