12th secured given our goal difference over Stevenage.

Now need to push on and secure play-offs, could happen next week but we need to win and results go our way.

We've secured a minimum 12th place finish today, next step is confirming a play-off spot.

I'm assuming 81 points will be enough for automatic promotion, TOP 3 finish.

Current Table
PLD....W.....D....L....PTS....PPG
41.....19....15...7....72.....1.76

Required for 81 points
PLD...W......D.....L....PTS....PPG
5.......3......0.....2......9......1.80
5.......2......3.....0......9......1.80

Based on our current PPG 1.76 we would finish on 81 points, which is usually Top 3 :D

Well done today Stags, 3 points, job done ;)

You have to take account of the team's below us playing each other. The chances of us finishing 12th is zero.

Its a very quick calculation based on points we have compared to others in the league ignoring that other team will have to play each other.

By all means Sandy / Whiffy if you want to contribute by precisely calculating the outcome based on other teams having to play each other rather than criticise then knock yourselves out.

Merely pointing out that we can't finish as low as 12th as you rudely insisted to Edders earlier.

If I could predict results with certainty I'd be worth a fortune but I do know we can't drop to 12th.

If you can't take it don't dish it out when you are clearly in correct.

https://thefishy.co.uk/calc.php

Remember that? I put in it that we would lose our next 5 games and the calculator had us finishing 5th.

A other try had us 4th and again 6th.

I don’t but I’m not the one making a statement that isn’t accurate. If you’re wrong then don’t comment. The comment about 12th was daft and presupposes that none of the top 11 will play each other.

All that needs is a 32 goal swing in goal difference in favour of Stevenage. And I thought we had a decent defence.......

And how long did it take you to work out that load of tripe? Was it worth the effort? And how many goals do we have to lose by to drop beneath the other two teams on the same number points?

If you are a betting man I will give you 20 to 1 for all of those results to come in. The only proviso is that you put a minimum of £100 on. That should be a decent night out with absolutely no chance of losing :D :D

At the end of the day we will not finish as low as 12th but who cares that much to work it out.

Realistically speaking, we are play offs at least. Look at last season we were 4th in Feb and never got back into the top 3 and missed out on the play offs on the last game of the season.

As for top 3, you could probably put permutations in that calculator where Lincoln end up in the play offs. However realistically they are promoted, I'd even say champions at this point.

Losing White and Bobby long term and losing Rose, who was our plan B, are what's chucked a spanner in the works for us this season.

5 minutes to work out and 10 to type from fishy site. Odds are billions to 1 against but it is still possible for us to finish 13th but my guess is we will finish 3rd..
