I’d imagine they’ll wait until the FA Cup 1st round is over, if both clubs lose then that free’s a Saturday date up. Would make sense to do it then

Chances are both teams won't lose. And the second round is in December, too late. The rearranged date needs to be soon as it's interfering with the league table.

Why is it too late? If there’s a chance of a free Saturday for both of us then wait for it

The league positions aren't clear because of the games in hand, and if it turns out that we don't lose the FA Cup match so cant catch up on a free Saturday we're entering the crowded Christmas period already a game down. Then we start on the weather dependent period.

This month we have 5 league games plus the chickenfeed trophy, next month there are 4 league games with the chickenfeed and fa Cup (plus possible replay). If Crewes chickenfeed matches are on different weeks to us then it will be impossible to fit this match in. It looks like we may have to wait until the new year

Notts County have got their match against Oldham postponed on 13th Oct due to international call ups of Oldham players and they have rearranged it already for 6th November.

Someone mentioned on Tuesday that Pearce has been called up but I have not seen this anywhere.

Why can't we sort out a date for Crewe?

As the game is at Crewe it will be up to them to suggest a date. Perhaps they don't want to play on 6 November and then there are very few Tuesdays free until the new year

It makes no difference who is the home club. The two clubs have to agree the date. If they can't, then it goes to EFL to decide.
