Whatever's rumoured is just that rumoured by sad folks who make up what they don't know and they don't know very much.

With White out injured who will be doing the comedy ’step overs’ this Saturday?

It won’t be same to see a wing back with co-ordination tazzing down the wing having the ball under control.

Interesting tweet from Anderson.

Savage told a long story on the podcast about his time at Derby under Paul Jewell. He had gone from a PL player to not being able to get in the Derby team in The Championship. Said his performances weren't good enough and he couldn't get around the pitch like he used to. He went to Brighton in League One and still couldn't get a game there. Came back and trained with the kids to the best of his ability but to no avail. Things only changed for him when Jewell got sacked and Nigel Clough came in, changed his role and put him back in the team. Maybe that is what Anderson is hoping for.

Quite a funny side story that during that time, Derby's chairman came to him and asked him to try and get himself on I'm a Celebrity whilst he was out of team so they could not pay him his wages!

What the rumour about Anderson? I like him and he deserves a spot on the bench at least.

Probably something along the lines as the Robbie savage story, Anderson sold a dream by Evans to be in a promotion winning side and being a regular starter. SE leaves, DF says he's not good enough for the first team or something along those lines then Anderson didn't like that.

That's my guess anyway

But that story was told during the last season of that podcast. The latest episode was released on Monday, I've not had a chance to listen to it yet, but it must be something in that episode. I did only recently listen to the episode you were referencing and it sang out to me like it could have been Ando saying it!

Well if it was, it was told again in Monday's. It was definitely the new one I listened to. The theme was comebacks based on the comeback of the podcast and Tiger Woods.

The problem I find with hearing a story by Robbie Savage is that you'd have to listen to Robbie Savage to hear it. And no story is worth that.

That podcast is belting and if you gave it a chance, you'd probably warm to him. It's very in-depth, very human and very relatable if that makes sense.

Saw him playing in a game towards the end of his career, he deliberately got a young player on his debut sent off then winked at a teammate. When asked about it after the game he said the player would learn from the experience.

My most endearing memory of Savage was when he played in a Derby vs Forest game some years ago. He made a harsh tackle on a forest player, who lost his balance and accidentally headbutted Savage squarely in the jubblies.

Zander Diamond's wife has joined in. Maybe he's not injured after all?

Well if he isn't injured then he should be in the team for me.
We lack that real leader in the back 3.

Something defo not ringing true with Ando and Diamond for sure.

I'd be much more supportive of Diamond being back in the fold. He was largely very good last season, but people wrote him off after one bad game against Crewe, as did Flitcroft it would seem. He's also useful from set pieces.

I wouldn't have either of the raspberries in the team, even if we were down to 9 fit senior players

It's obviously something to do with this mysterious rumour that everybody knows but nobody will mention.

I thought diamond was way too slow for the back but maybe on the right of a three not far from White would work...

Anderson is a quality pro and thought we played good football when he was in the team, liked to keep it moving and wanted the ball. Thought he didn't look so good at right back.

Don't like to see players frozen out for no reason... Give him a chance!

I find it amazing that so many people claim to know the reason why neither are playing but are not prepared to post it on here.
What have they got to lose if they are so confident it is correct that they have built up such hatred for them ?

I think Diamond is a far better leader than Pearce.

So do I. Pearce is a good defender but he is also the Captain of Mute United.
