Lenny Pidgeley suffering from depression.

Can’t really understand the condition myself seeing I have not experienced it, but folk tell me it is really debilitating and something you should not wish on your worse enemy.

Once of Chelsea starting XI, his career nose dived.

Depression is a catch all term like saying someone has a cardiovascular problem. Hopefully he can get better soon.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I can understand his anger that his former club has announced this.

However, he will have a much better chance of recovery now his family and friends are aware of his illness.

I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

I've suffered from it for around 20 years mate. Different people suffer in different ways, but you're right about not wishing it on anyone, although I would make an exception for H*slam.

There was an excellent programme on BBC Radio Lincolnshire last night about Mental Health and Football.
