Excuse the ignorance of youth but when was the last time both chesterfield and county were a league below us? It hasn’t happened before in my lifetime as a Stags fan so thought I’d ask how rare it was?

Also through having a great agent, hard work and perseverance he has managed, for the second year running, to take a local rival down to the conference.

Firstly, is this a record? Secondly, will he be given the freedom of Mansfield and the privileges that go with it (driving a flock of sheep through the market though without making love to them)? Thirdly, who would we like him to sign for this coming season?

Maybe just me but would welcome back agent Hemmings. 14 goals in a poor team isn't a bad return.

I suggest every Stags fan listens to Charlie Slater’s interview with Alan Hardy after the game yesterday, it has put things in perspective for me and I feel so much better.

Listened to that interview today, very, very disturbing. I'd have been worried if I'd been Charlie Slater that the next time I saw Alan he'd have been floating face down along the Trent. Never listened to an interview where someone was so crestfallen such as that, the long pauses and sighs from Hardy shows he cares about what's happened, unlike the Count who just sat smoking his cigars and smirking to himself.

I do remember visiting the Notts county mad forum when we was relegated and remember how they mocked us for dropping to non league !! I just hope they realise what goes around comes around
