I know he comes in for some stick, but I think this guy is great. A true fan who takes the lows (very badly, sometimes worryingly so) and enjoys the better times.

For all the knocks he gets and the laughs he’s given he is a true fan and you have to respect that, despite being a pie it’s always better than an armchair fan. After all you’ve got to support these little non league league clubs or they’d be out of business.

Can't see Clownty catching Torquay now, currently losing 1-0 and Torquay 2-0 up. 15 point gap.

To inform people that I’m not interested in this weird fixation with the Pies.

Hope that clarifies.

That makes no sense. Par for the course.

I have a passing interest because our 6th choice striker is on loan to them. Twas funny but they about as significant as Alfreton are to me.

Knowles should be recalled in January. Notts fan who's a friend on my Facebook says it'd be nice to keep him all season as he's a good player, another fan agrees and thinks he will return to us in the new year. He's a better option than Reid.

Here is Jimmy Knowles disallowed goal (scroll to 19 minutes). He is clearly onside.

(also the Ben Turner red card is at 18 minutes)
