My grave dancing will be entirely dependant on us finishing in the top 3 too.

We will but my god i really detest them ,i will dance around my sombrero when they go down never to be heard of again ,thats good enough for me us going up them going into oblivion ,tis the season to be jolly

Where does your strong anti County feeling come from? I've never really been bothered by them to that extent like most Stags fans I know.
I know they've often claimed to be the bigger club, and shouldn't be in the same league as us, but that's just typical football fans bluster. Totally different to the crew from the other side of the M1.

It comes from the fact that their fans and Colin slater live in a parallel universe. Aparently they were good in 1950 or something which nobody cares about which gives their fans an automiatic right to think their club is amazing and better than everyone else.

As they’re finding out, being good in previous seasons means nothing to this season.

As I thought then, just football fans bluster, I want to beat them all the time, without exception, but I don't for one second wish oblivion or them going bust for one second.

His vlogs are always on Youtube as was the Colchester one. His latest post Camb Utd is a proper tear jerker. Seems he's given up on them and is resigned to relegation and them having to take the proud 'World's Oldest Football League Club' sign down

I don't. To put things into perspective, we were 4 points better off than Clownty in 07-08 after 28 games.
Even the sheep last season after 28 games had 2 points more than the Pies do now. They are bottom for a reason after 28 games and that reason is because they are tommy tank.

Trouble for County is that teams around them seem to be picking up points now, whereas they don’t look likely to win anything.

I don’t think they will turn it around. The probably is they are consistently poor. They seem to have a flash of a good game but then normal service resumes.

I can’t see them getting any better. Macc are picking up some great wins.

Unless they pick up some absolute diamonds during this window they won’t do anything other then go down

Surely, when he gets home, his carer must take his belt, shoelaces and sharp objects from him. I can’t see this lad lasting the season out.

Pretty much like us in 07/08 we'd go and get a belting win at somewhere like Wycombe or Lincoln the come back to t'Mill get spanked and lose our next 3-4 after that.

Nearly 30 games played and only on 21 points.... they'll need around 50 to stop up. 10 more wins in 18 games is it? when they've managed to win 4 out of 28... just can't see it, when it gets this bad you're in serious trouble.

Lad who I worked with is a fairly big county fan and says they need a full clear out because there's too many players just not got the right attitude for starters.

Dennis is a mardy raspberry that doesn't like things going his way and gives up.
Hemmings doesn't like not scoring and has seems to hat just being there.
Vaughn is too slow and get knackered quickly. Tries to play the Hollywood pass and looses it.
Keeper looks nervous and weak and not commanding.
Nathan Thomas back to being raspberry
No pace
No leaders
Defence switches off every 5 minutes

Thats his assessment, they seem suited to non league already.

If Ardley doesn't get his way with players in and out/backed by Hardy during January I can see him walking out near the end of this month/start of February

His task is too big and with the sorry squad he has he must see how untenable it is

Even if Ardley were able to get the necessary funds from the chairman, how could he persuade enough quality players to sign for the club at the bottom of the Football League? When you’re in the straits that Notts are, you’d have to be a real mercenary to risk getting a crash out of the League on your CV.

I know that for most footballers money is the first priority, and that is understandable, but surely a little bit of pride has to be in there too. And certainly without that the chances of even limited success are slight.

Anyone know what the points total for second bottom has been in last ten years?

I must be going soft in my old age but I do feel a teensy weensy bit of sympathy for Mr Potatohead. I know in the dictionary if you look up 'hubris' there's a picture of Hardy and he started all that 'mind the gap' stuff and was creaming his pants thinking he'd put one over on us for Hemming's signature. BUT, he's a County fan, he's put his money where his massive mouth is and it's been a disaster for him personally and the club he supports.

I know he's brought a lot of it on himself, but he's no Haslam or Oyston, he loves County. Imagine how you would feel if you spunked away a good chunk of the personal fortune, you'd worked hard to acquire, on living every fans dream, just for it all to explode in your face.

I still want the fokkers to go down though.

Just seen on their forum Jamie Turley's contract expires today & hasn't been renewed. A County fan said "we're finally sorting the wheat from the chaff and throwing away the wheat"
