It is their big day in court, either a winding up order or an extension of time for the Danish bid to go through as new owners.

Shouldn't be given any more time. How long do the public have to wait for their money?
Cough up or ship out. Remember all of these adjournments are costing more in costs for HMRC with little chance of recovering it. Paying tax is not optional, well in theory anyway. Get everyone on PAYE and watch the country prosper. Far too much tax evasion and this condones it.

Your correct.......
However the HMRC have a strange idea of collecting what is owed to them.
By personal experience I owed the HMRC a sum of £960
I phoned the HMRC in September 2018 and try to negotiate paying the total sum off in April 2019... But they wouldn't wait 6 months for the total amount but asked if I would agree to a monthly payment starting October 2018 paying £10 a month which would take paying the debt off around 6 YEARS.
I now pay £10 a month at 0% interest so if you want a small loan HMRC is the best place to go.

Are you sure it was the taxman Sina and not the tallyman?
HMRC normally give a maximum of 12 months to pay outstanding amounts and charge interest on late payments.

I'm deadly serious.....HMRC the day of the conversation I put the phone down n remember saying to Mrs Sina no wonder the country is in such a mess you wouldn't believe the conversation I've just had with the tax office.
There's a twist to the story I've not mentioned after setting up the payment plan I started paying n after 3 months of payments I received a letter from a debt collecting agency for the full amount I rang them n explained I had an agreement with HMRC to pay it monthly. They told me to go back to the HMRC n ask them to send a letter of confirmation the details I had diacusaed where correct. HMRC agreed it was their error sent a letter to the debt collecting agency n paid me a small amount of compensation for my inconvenience.
Then a month later HMRC sent me a tax return of over £500 for to much tax I had paid in 2017.
The HMRC must be the poorest run department in the government anyone reading this I would advise to spend 15 minutes checking on line the amount of tax you've paid over the last 5 years.

D day for Notts County. What we all hoping for?
I don’t ever want to see a club go out of business but would happily see them given a large points deduction of automatically relegated from the National League.

He must have some considerable evidence that the Danish takeover is happening.
The interesting consequence is I don’t think they are allowed to sign new players until this is concluded. Ardley had apparently lined up 4 signings but they could well sign elsewhere in the meantime.

I'd be very interested to see if non football clubs would be dealt with so leniently in the same circumstances.
Whilst not wanting to see a football club go under, the tax payer in me is appalled that HMRC cannot get the money ther are owed. If this is the attitude of the courts there is no wonder so much tax is not paid and why so many companies leave it to the very last moment to pay.

Relegation scrap again for them I think, teams will love playing at their ground

If it is the Danish consortium that is set to take them over, how will their core business of providing analysis for sports betting sit with the FA?

Smartodds does it with Brentford.
But, as it's a consortium then it will be a mixture of businesses (of which Football Radar is one of them)

But isn't that how he got the last adjournment, by showing evidence that the South African takeover was close to happening ?
How many more chances are they going to give him ?
Hope you are right about the transfer embargo as they wont have much time by then !!

And it would’ve been close. The court wouldn’t accept just verbal confirmation, they’d want documents to prove it.
This will be their last chance, surely. The judge would take into consideration lack of pay, the season just about to start etc. If it’s not done by then they are out of business.
Any other business would’ve gone by now

I might be wrong but I don’t think the transfer window exists in non league so they will be free to sign players after the window closes. That being said I think they have 14 games before the end of September so they could be well adrift by then and playing catch up with new players and fitness.

Realistic objectives for Clownty this season are to consolidate in t'NL. Anything else is a massive bonus .

They’d have to be seriously bad to go down from NL. I wonder how many of last seasons players are still there. I suspect going forward they might be ok, but there defence always seemed terrible to me.

I think there are still several big names still there, judging by the friendlies match reports i've seen. Big names mean big wages!
I have a feeling that unless someone else comes in then the Danish will bide their time and pick it up for pence once the club goes bust. In a roundabout way that's probably for the best, as it'll mean more spare money to hopefully invest in rebuilding the club. All depends on how long Hardy can hold out for, and if my theory is true then 'not for long'
If i look in pain it's because i'm thinking
