They was gloating at us when we got relegated, so for me it’s Karma. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bloke lol.

From what I've read this was correct at the time. However when Alan decided to wip out mini Alan this has resulted in the contract being lost. If other customers have followed suit then you can easily understand why they are now in financial difficulty.

No way someone is buying a club weeks away from administration....

Unless it's another Alan Hardy.

Agree, for any commercial investor, i.e. someone with no feeling or emotional affiliation to County, it would make zero commercial sense to buy now. Yes relegation would be a set-back commercially, but manageable as part of a bigger plan, as other teams have shown season after season, not to mention us. Only someone who had a desperate desire to save County from non-league would buy now.

Do them good to have a taste of non league like we had to suffer but they will, like the Sheep, be back in time and much stronger no doubt as the fan base at both clubs is much bigger than ours.

The tag of being the oldest league club may have some credence in tempting a new owner.

Having said that, they better look sharp, as they could lose that accolade next season. :)

They would rebrand as the Oldest Professional Football Club in the World (not just the oldest in the oldest league)

Paragon employees due their monthly salaries today haven't been paid. Looks very bleak.

That absolutely is totally unfair on people who get out of bed in a morning to do a job n all they ask for is fair days pay for a fair days work......

But

The idiot in charge gambled on their future n families because of arrogance n playing in an arena he couldn't really afford......

But the likes of Dick head Hardey will go on playing 10 Bob Billy with people livelihoods......

No one wants to see that. And all because Hardy wanted a bit of fame - fool.

Yeah, they still got our cash (£80 grand) from last week.

He might as well have just got his 'lad out', a lot cheaper.

This can't be new news. #willygate can't have ended a business with circa £72m turnover. He must have known about the lack of 'surplus' on the P&L sheet. He must have. At least he survived in post and got to live the dream until he oversaw a win over Mansfield...

If they got tits up or go into administration and are sent to the pit of misery, they may have local 'bragging rights' for decades to come. Missed out on a chance to sing 'we'll never play you again'.

Big Al tells his Paragon employees that they won't be paid today by e mail.

Can anyone who's seen the willypic confirm that he has no balls?

If county have any funds and owe Paragon 7 million, they should morally pay as much as possible back to enable the workers to be paid.

Of course Hardy has no morals so it won't happen. I just hope the receivers take the club to court for an immediate repayment of the loans or at least an injunction to stop them spending any more money on the club.

As rotten a a pear.

Looks like Notts have until 6th March to either find themselves a buyer, or for Paragon to be bought out.

Terrible situation. Feel for all of the employees whose jobs are at real risks at both.

Their result on Saturday may well define their entire season. Port Vale at home. Lose that then it could well be curtains.

If County fans had any passion about their club n were the money came from to keep.their sorry heads above water n a club to watch they should at least have fans giving donations or collection buckets at Home to Port Vale to raise some funds for Paragon employees to have at least some money to pay bills or buy food.....

Got zero sympathy.
They should never have signed all the players this season if paragon was not ‘safe’ and they would have known this....they took a massive risk.

Equally the fans were happy to brag about their financial might at the time and loved it when we went down under haslam so unfortunately it’s just a massive dose of karma fior them
