It takes a lot of skill to hit the side netting when you think of the size of the goal, well done Jimmy.
Also he's still got the penalty miss in the play off finals if plan A fails.

It depends who it’s against. If it’s against Chesterfield then I hope he scores!

Sounds like he is going to spend money already.

I just hope his young midfield genius is match fit and can slot straight in. He must be some prospect if he can.

Not sure if the table reflects these results.

their results have been expunged.

This is the correct table

Barnet  what has happened to them? I know they've always been a bit of a yo-yo side between conf and league two but those stats are shocking

Makes no difference this season as there is no relegation. The National League seems to be a disaster this season. With some teams fielding weaker teams and some clubs qualifying for loans and others being turned down, promotion has become almost a lottery.

It’s actually made it so much easier for teams to get in with a chance of promotion due to others fielding weakened sides.

So you take the government grant, furlough all players and staff and shut up shop, like Dover.

Or you overspend with no income on the hope of gaining promotion, only 2 clubs are going to make it.
I can see a few clubs going bust next season and I'm not ruling out county or the cheaterfield.

So if Dover's season has been expunged where do they go if there's no relegation though?

Do they just start again next season in the conference having basically not played this season?

Because they can't afford to play games they've been fined 40k and get deducted 12 points next season.
They are appealing the fine but other clubs think they should be or they may as well of done the same.

Shouldn't be promotion in my eyes... teams at the bottom who aren't bothered not really having anything to play for when they play top sides. bit of a farce

Problem with that is that if there was no promotion for them, then there would be no relegation in L2. Then the same applies to us, and knocks onwards right up to the Premiership and basically makes the whole season null and void.

How many times has young Jimmy been caught offside, a bit embarrassing.

County were awful despite the 1-0 win. Scored from a set piece, but had nothing going forwards from open play.

Knowles didn’t show much.

Watching Hartlepool v Notts on BT Sports and Notts look a very poor side with Jimmy Knowles not getting a look in. Don’t want to be to critical but he just ambles around the pitch has no physical presence and does no closing down
He would not get into our side on 1st half effort

It depends on what he’s been told to do. I get the impression he’s been told to stay up and keep their centre halfs occupied. He got praised for his work rate, including working back, against Woking. He’s been in the game more second half.

Cal Roberts limps off 5 minutes after coming on, he is returning from injury. That's very unfortunate for him and them.
