Possibly true. And they’re still paying him anyway!

Spoke to a county fan at work, he’s waiting on the potential new owners to be announced. He thinks the deal can’t be completed until the end of the season as they’ve agreed 2 different prices depending on what league they are in next season. If that’s true this will be a nervous week for Hardy.

I think County will beat Grimsby as the Mariners seem to be having lots of injury problems and have got loads of young lads playing for them. Wes Thomas has not played for them since being told to stay away from training. Kristian Dennis has gone back to County. I doubt he would have been allowed to play in any event.

Grimsby's current form is DLLDDLLDLW

Could be all over for them tomorrow, this is their 'Rotherham' game. If they lose and Macc scrape a point it's as good as curtains

I've just been drinking back in Nottingham with a Notts season ticket holder. He's completely dejected. He knows they're down. I thought I was in a bad mood, but bloody hell.

County need a miracle. They need to win away at Swindon and hope Macclesfield lose at home to Cambridge.

Mind you, Wycombe probably thought the same in 2014. They had to win away at Torquay and hope Bristol Rovers lost at home to the Stags.

Just the slightest flicker of a smile crossed my face as news filtered through that Macc had shown the bottle to go away and win. Fair play to Sol and his boys, just a draw is all they need to stay up barring Clownty scoring a shed load.
As I say it was the merest flicker as I was watching us bottling it big time AGAIN in front of a big expectant home crowd. Always, always we never do it the easy way, it always has to be the Mansfield Town way doesn't it eh!!

And if Notts fail to win at Swindon, Macc can lose also.

I think Sol has done remarkably well consider where they were when he took over, the resources, and the financial difficulties.

Notts on the other hand need a minor miracle now I think. Can't see Cambridge doing anything at Macc on Saturday.

Last season I was jubilant at chesterfield going down. Notts, not really.

I am as happy at County going down as Chesterfield to be honest. The most arrogant fans in the league and joined in the spireites in their 'Mansfield Down' game in 08. A perfect piece of karma that they have both dropped in successive years (assuming they do).

They will, I have rubber stamped it by backing a Cambridge and Notts County win double at 15/2 (I rarely collect from the Bookies)

Put £50 quid on the win double of Cambridge and Notts County.
If they get relegated then your bet has failed (Happy days)
If they survive then you get a return of £400+ as compensation.

The thing with Swindon is that they've been in crap form for a few games now and the players will be turning out for Saturday's game in sunglasses and Bermuda shorts. Clownty have definitely something to play for and may 'want it' more than Swindon.

Macc have Camb U who have nowt to lose and sometimes it takes the pressure off a team with this and they flourish so could be a danger to Sol's boys if they aren't 'on it' like our team recently.
