arsene wengers coat wrote:I was talking to another dad at my kids football this morning and he mentioned he's on the board of both Football Radar and at Notts County.

Mentioned that they keep a keen eye on the goings on at Mansfield. Football radar had us finishing in 4th last season so he was surprised it went how it did. He was very impressed with Johnson and Hawkins signing on.

He said they were signing the Hartlepool captain today but he's got covid so he can't come in and do his medical so they're just skipping it. They've scanned the contract o er to him and just hoping he signs.

Finally, something we all knew but said the Chesterfield manager is a complete nob and half his team hate him. Before their playoff match with chesterfield, apparently the Chesterfield manager played the players a 2 minute montage of video clips of him celebrating goals on the touchline. To gee them up apparently!

Has been said by many people around the game that he's the footballing equivalent of David Brent

Alot of his interviews are cringing

Think Greeny would be a good signing for County

Counteh fans seem buzzing about nicking Torquay players, and a few of their fans think they'll walk the league next season

They may well do but I think it will be a tough league.

I would rather Notts do it than the scummers

The National League will be red hot next season with Torquay, Stockport, Wrexham, Grimsby, Southend, Daggers, Eastleigh, Solihull Moors, Halifax, Bromley etc all having competitive teams.

We signed a top Torquay striker, that worked out well.

yes a very tough league - a good number of teams who appear to be "going for it" and only 1 auto and 1 lottery play off space. A long as both Counteh and Cheaterfield serve a minimum of 5 years, I will be happy.

No wonder County beat Harry Kewell's Barnet 5-0 on Saturday

Mesage from Barnet Chairman
"We got shirts but we got no club badges for the shirts, no shirt numbers, no bench wear, no match balls, no stewards, no chefs, no beer so we had to close the shop."

Read the whole article and we have to be eternally grateful for the Radfords stewardship of our club.

The ‘just in time’ regime does not seem to work anymore in this country.

Wouldn't have thought it'd go down to last game of the season if they won every game 5-0

You never know, their fax machine might break.

Then as backup they might not have enough wood to send smoke signals.
