I've got room for two littluns or a biggun & a littlun or one very biggun for Saturday. Leaving Woodhus 9.30 to 10am.

Be pushing it leaving at 10ish won't ya, M5 during the holiday season can get gridlocked on Saturdays, especially if there are roadworks too.

on google maps, you can put in estimated departure day and time, and it will estimate how long it will take to drive starting off at a particular time. It uses data from previous weeks at the same time. I use that a lot and find it very reasonable.

For MTFC to YTFC it says 4 hrs 40 mins setting off at 10am on Saturday and I would guess that will be about right.

Fair point Martin, but with only 20 minutes fudge time, it only takes 1 accident, breakdown and your behind. From previous experience the M5 can be a nightmare during the holiday season so IMO it's a bit tight. I went on the train last season as I work down south but Yeovil junction was miles from the town centre. Good luck to everyone travelling, sure you'll be coming home with 3 more points.

Leaving at 10 from Mansfield is way too late I’d think.

Leaving at ten from Guildford is enough. The A303 will be a nightmare from Amesbury to the A35 junction at this time of year. Holiday traffic will be horrendous.

Think it’s sensible with holiday traffic. Don’t want to go all that way and miss the game.

Make sure to keep your windows shut when passing through Amesbury. ;)

Looks like Ironbru & me have 4 spaces between us, would your lads split up or are they too young?

Staying in Weston_s_Mare overnight prior to game tomorrow and spent 5 1/2 hours. So if you're coming tomorrow give yourself plenty of time. Stop start for much of M5

Anybody who travels by train to away games or would be looking at doing so the following might be useful.

Macclesfield away from Alfreton, changing at Stockport is only £18.70 return with a railcard, it's around £23.00 without.

Cheltenham away from Mansfield changing at Nottingham is currently only £21.20 with a railcard, it's £33.00 without.

Early tickets are sometimes very good. I’m going to a reunion in York in Oct and got a return from Kings X to York for under 50 Sterlings.
