Thinks, Marky Mark puts it very well, if you are a successful club people want to read about you and watch you. If, as the past shows us, you are not successful no one cares.

I prefer the former.

Back Evans, let's have fun for once?

JR needs to give whatever backing he can realistically afford, but must be mindful if Evans doesn't promote us then we'll need a sensible budget for the season after.

It won't cost us anything next season. It might in the future though.

There is no way JR can match SE requirements within our income (or what we can use of our income on wages). The extra money that will need to be found will come with as more loans or as some sort of gift.

People need to remember we (the club) already owe millions and own next to nothing. Everyone seems to have forgotten money doesn't grow on trees.

Chad? You mean the Theresa May Times. Disgusting that any local paper should sacrifice its front page to a political message on the run up to a General election!

When I bought my Chad this week, I removed the Tory wrap around advert from the paper, screwed it up and left it on the shelve with the other papers.
Can we play Accrington Stanley every week.

I see a few people have asked the Ch*d to clarify if any local prospective MP's are currently under police investigation. Have they managed to do this yet?

Or are they still running stories about that barking mad vicar?

Quite funny you say that. I was told yesterday that Evans is retiring from football in the summer as he's just gone in to a restaurant business with a close friend. I wasn't going to say anything so don't shoot the messenger.

Evans retiring from football is more unlikely than an unlikely thing. He lives and breaths football.

I don't think it's as likely as that, Martin!

A Scotsman with anger management issues and a dubious financial history would never make it in the restaurant industry....
