Good report Martin, i agree about MacDonald, he was superb and worked so hard and so intelligently. I thought Green tried hard but not much came off for him, but White man was back to his best. Another couple of goals wouldn't have flattered us.

thanks very much. Yes I saw that. The police crowd estimates are usually close, but almost never completely accurate.

Cheers Martin,

Great result and great we have found our shooting boots now too.

Do you have a list of our top scorers this season?

I know only Green is in double figures but there must be a few more aiming to get past 10 before the end of the season.

Agree in the main with the report Martin but not about their goal. Yes Howkins should have done better with the ball in the first place but being "barged off the ball" as you describe it is still a foul. We were in line with the incident as was the incredibly poor linesman. A push in the back when Howkins was in mid-air is a foul.
With regard to the linesman not only did he miss the push on Howkins but also gave a corner when it clearly came off Ellison's head. Also, on a weekend when Seamus Coleman suffers a high profile double leg break he was not going to take any action when the Morecambe defender went straight over the ball on Danny Rose right under his nose yet the ref who was further away gave a yellow card.

Happening quite a few times where players are getting a nudge whilst in the air and no foul given.

I understand that from the angle the Stags fans had it looked like a foul, and I referenced this in my report. From my angle, and from the two camera angles I have, it doesn't look like a foul. It was unusual for Steve Evans not to complain about such an incident, and he had a similar angle to me.

Following the game at Morecambe, and with just 7 games to go this season, these are my average player ratings based on the 47 league+cup games so far this season (top 4 players):

Coulthirst 7.05, Byrom 7.04, Whiteman 6.97, M.Rose 6.89.

Note: only ratings for players starting a game are included - ie. sub appearances not included. Minimum 10 games started.

Note that if only the games since 1st January are included, then D.Rose shoots to the top with an average of 7.43 (from 7 games)
