marvellous what happens when you're ordered to start posting the correct attendance and not some dreamt up fictitious number plucked out of thin air
:mtfc:

I think they count all the season ticket holders as attending, regarding the attendance figure for league games.

Today's game was a Trophy cup game, so the actual attendance figure would be posted.

yes they've been counting non attendees, Inc season tickets and give aways for years
however they've now been told by the league to start posting the correct attendance, including league games

They only opened two stands today & put the away fans down one side! Might as well have just opened up the one stand & split it!

They even closed their kop end. Pigeons have moved in around the ground and are gradually filling it up with droppings.

Honest question. How long do folk think they'll remain in the mud pit. Does anyone think they'll beat our 5 seasons of hell. Indeed have they further to plunge yet?

Hope so but they also need to stay in business so they can remain our little non-league neighbours. No fun if they totally die off!

Tune into Bob’s Board. The Spireites sense oblivion, unless new owners with big wallets are sourced SOON. They also seem resigned to another relegation at the end of this season.

Assuming they go down and then down to Evostik Prem level, where would their Derbs biggest club ranking leave them... on par with Matlock/Buxton?

Still here, just more of a reader of this forum these days rather than much of a contributor.
Could see a lot of arguing and infighting bound to materialise with Dempster etc and the differing opinions of the members of the board. It's depressing enough having to watch us be a shadow of ourselves from last season, without the depression of arguing about it on here afterwards. Tired of it to be honest.
If I contribute anything these days it's more on Facebook, as at least it's not all full of faceless trolls too.

Had a quick glance at the derby dire times. Seems that the last new owner has backed out and they now want a fans consortium.

It’s just not feasible for a fans consortium to fund the massive losses they are making.

Our “amigos” discovered this and without JR’s financial clout, I genuinely think we’d no longer exist.

something odd on the BBC sports website today - Torquay line up with 9 men? 5 on the sub bench - no wonder they are a goal down

Every season got use to the alarm going off and thinking great its Derby day.
Last season was not to bad because we still had Clownty.
The buzz you got going out early and seeing the masses of the Amber and Blue army put a lump in your throat
Loved the train ride into Notts and going for few jars before the match.
You could feel your pulse getting faster as we got closer to match .
That special passion you get between both sets of fans is so special.
Just wanted the match to live up to the hype and come out of it with the bragging rights.
Never forget little old me after Sir Calvin Andrew and Sir Melvin Benning goals ,coming away from the match being pumped up like ten men.

After saying all that i want them for a few years yet feel the pain you feel and struggle you go through to get your league status back .

As a club we have come so far and hopefully with GC and JD they create that magic formula and take us to league 1.

So the Amber and Blue Army march on to push our great club onto future success.

I expect Notts to come back soon, but it's funny to think that my daughter's generation will grow up not even considering Chesterfield as a rival.

If you were disappointed with any presents you received today spare a thought for the poor child that unwraps a Spireite shirt!
