That's got to be a record of some description. What odds for a 1-1 draw in their next match.

Chesterfield's next 4 games - Salford (H), Leyton Orient (A), Solihull Moors (H) and Hartlepool (A) - very tough and hopefully there will be 23 non-league games without a win at end of this year... :hysteria: :hysteria:

Reading on bobs board has cheered me up no end on this dark cold winters night. Sounds as if less than 2000 were actually in the ground and that’s a generous estimate.

Without wanting to defend our dear friends, I can’t imagine the prospect of a home game against Bromley would excite any fan, anywhere at any time.

So they can’t come on here giving it the ‘we still get bigger crowds than you’ anymore. Looks like their decline into the deep mire is starting to bite. How many of their stay aways will ever return?

Oh of course, which is why I said I wasn't defending them, but by god some of those games in the conference are dire - folk in league 2 think they're hard done to playing Macc, Morecambe etc - they don't know they're born until they go down!

Anyone going in the Basford end when they play Chesterfield in the FA Trophy?

Forest don’t play that day so I’d imagine quite a few will travel.

Their attendance of 3700 stood up very well last night compared to league 1 and 2.
I noticed the crowds generally were around 20-30% lower than expected for normal midweek games probably due to the weather.
If they are counting non attending season ticket holders and non attending freebie ticket holders then it could be the crowd figure should have begun with a "2" if comparing apples with apples.
A big drop from the halcyon days of 2014 and 2015 when they were regularly getting 6-7000 fans at the top end of league 1.
It would be interesting to compare our crowds (bums on seats) with their adjusted figures over the last few years. The "we get double or treble your crowd" claims can be finally disproved.

According to my mate, their cheat attendance included non-attending season ticket holders and the real attendance was around 1,500!
