Their 10 remaining games reads as... 3 hard games, 4 easy games and finish on a hard away game.
3+4+1=8
County have got 9 to play

Just shows what a farce the National League has become. There should be no easy games. Taking relegation away has made the competition a lottery. The bottom half teams have nothing to play for. Surely if relegation has been ruled out, then promotion should be too.Bros wrote:ParisStag wrote:Spireites run in is hard. They've got 4 top 6 teams in their last 10 games.

No Dan, was reading about it this week.
We all get the same share from the "the pot"
You make a good point Dave. It's got to start somewhere. The lowest league (National League) is the sensible place to start. However, I still maintain promotion in the National League has become a lottery. Not just the teams you have to face in the run in. Also those who were given loans and those who were declined them. It has made the run in an uneven playing field.Dave Wayne wrote:Amber Andy wrote:Just shows what a farce the National League has become. There should be no easy games. As I said in a previous post, this would then put L2 in the same position so would you advocate no promotion from L2 ? If so, then it would continue to trickle upwards to the point where the whole English football season was meaningless.

Hi STAGS FOR LIFE
Just wondering what happened to your livescore during our away trip to Bromley??
We ended up winning 2 - 1 if you wanted to know

I think they will make the playoffs but fail to get through them. The top3 are all better teams and should be good enough to see them off whichever ultimately wins the league.
Next season is crunch time if they don’t make it this time around and with variants running riot in Covid, there is still no guarantee that next season will see unlimited crowds return. Unless they get money through the door, I can only see bankruptcy and liquidation for the twisted ones.
