Nice to be so confident, but i can't see what that confidence is based on , going on their first season down there .

optimistic of them to plan to celebrate Daggers getting promoted, if you ask me!
my one regret is...i have no regrets!

Can't believe this story has been missed on here.

https://fanbanter.co.uk/chesterfield-pl ... UQVvqkQ5SY

Basically, he's the big donkey striker they signed from Alfreton who was a part time plasterer. Probably made more money from doing that pretty much like Reeves used to for Alty back in our non league days.

I suppose that when you have two commitments you go to the one which is most important. How can the sheep compete with a village cricket team?

Don't forget they are NON-LEAGUE :D

There used to be a few footballers who regularly played county cricket and professional football - Chris Balderstone (Carlisle United and Leicestershire) and Phil Neale (Lincoln City and Worcestershire) come to mind from the 70s and 80s.

Rather hypocritical of the Church Benders to discipline the player after all it wasn’t that long ago a raffle winner rang in sick rather than go on a pre-season tour with them

Credit where it’s due: they have taken the “oldest football league club” signs down and replaced them with “Notts County - Proud Members Of the National League”
