Just looking at County’s forum and they have a thread about Chesterfield wanting fans to purchase frost covers.
Wonder why they not using cash from the loans to keep them afloat, perhaps need to buy another couple of players.

Apparently it's an 'unbudgeted' expense. Is there really so little in the bank they have to beg fans for the cash??

Wouldn't it be awful if they haven't budgeted for not going up this season...only for them not to go up this season!

they have started singing songs about us every week now apparently. One of their fans on bobs board is asking them to stop, as he finds it embarrassing. I hope they dont. If football loses its big rivalries it loses a massive part of the game, although its nice to see it. When i first got into supporting the stags, they were the better run club, better facilities and were in a higher division to have it the other way round is amazing.

They've never stopped singing about us. Every time I've seen them play they've always sang the 'chim chiminey' song about us as well as a couple of others. They're obsessed.

We always sing about them too. I love the rivalry. Long may it continue!

I just don’t want to play them until they have served their time in non-league. Minimum 5 years hopefully

If I was a direshite fan I'd think twice about this one. A club recently in Lge 1 having no frost covers

Haven't they got a striker not doing too bad called Kabingo

if they have spent the millions of council loans already then
We should help our poor rivals

A swop offer of some frost blankets in January and we give the lad a chance at league football.

The Twitter thread about the covers on the official Direshites page is hilarious. Catfight between two non league tin pot teams

Quite a few people angry on Twitter that they spent 6 figures on Kabongo plus are paying him upwards of £5,000 p/w yet are here asking for handouts. No shame those lots have they.

Imagine paying a 5th division footballer 10x the average wage for the region, and then trying to milk fans. Thank god we’ve got JR.

I think they may have Covid 19 in their camp and are struggling to raise a team to play Guiseley on Saturday in the Trophy.

;) I'm not sure about them being obsessed with us Dan. We have 315 pages on Chesterfield.

Good point :D

I bet the ‘covid’ soon disappears in time for the Chelsea game…

Maybe Chelski might become riddled with Covid and award the tie to t'sheep?
Prem clubs are as bothered about t'Cup as the top NL teams are about the Trophy imo.
