'Superfan'

Postby Random Hero » Tue Mar 12, 2013 3:53 pm

Today, I will be traveling up from Coventry on the train for Grimsby home game as soon as I finish work. I will be singing my heart out in the QLE as per usual come 7:45pm.

I'm then getting last train out of Mansfield after the game but it will only get me back to Leicester, as I will have missed the last train from there to Coventry.

So I am cycling 27 miles from Leicester to Coventry at 1am.

The important question here is...

Am I now more of a 'Superfan' than 'The Major', and if so, where do I collect my prize?

Thanks,

Ben

No no Martin, this one is purely transport from A to B, none of the 'fun' that can be had doing Lands End to John O'Groats!

I tell you what, if you successfully complete tonight's ride and the Stags win, I will chuck another tenner into the fund.

Come on, who else is up for that - its in a great cause.

I probably need to point out, after Martin's post, what he means! My girlfriend and I are cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats in mid April, all in aid of the Emma Stamp Charitable Trust.

Is that all Ben.
I well remember a chap in the 70s 80s who cycled to all our away games. Saw him many times at places like Brighton, Southampton and other far flung places. All done wi pedal power. No Random t'is no more than an admirable effort and you've a long way to go to rival The Major

The guy was a legend. I wouldn't be suprised if he were somehow related to Lee Beevers.

I did not know that mate, fantastic effort, I shall certainly throw some sponorship money your way. I really had better get off my backside & get into shape and start running some half marathons for Emma's charity like I said I was going to.

Great Effort Ben. I shall donate on completion of your long cycle. Friends of mine have also completed this. It takes a lot of endurance.
