Even more of a snub by Woking is that they are refusing entry to Stags fans to their club bar before the game

So inconvenience us so your plastic part time fans don't miss the Chumpions Cup Tuesday and then don't allow us access to your bar either - your loss you Part Time Pub Team - good job we won't need to retaliate next season as we won't be playing them in League 2!!

Like I said before, watching local teams play is just a past time for some people. But given the choice as a neutral, what would you do? Watch Man U v Madrid obviously. Woking v Stags won't even look that little bit enticing to them at all.

cant you see that moving it because of a champions league game on TV is completely devalueing the conference completely???

Can't you see that it wasn't the league's idea to change it? Woking's business plan is obviously to keep people turning up and due to past experience they knew they'd lose money due to the Champions League...

So Ricky, the precedence is now set, there will no longer ever be any BSP games played on an evening when English clubs are involved in the Champions League. I take it that is what you are saying ....... ?

Football is dead, long live football.

No Rob, what I am saying is that Woking had the Champions League game in mind when it came to the arrangements. They have lost 400 customers this season due to a Champions League game, that is about 30% of their average. In their mind, they thought shifting this game to a Wednesday will see Woking attract more customers.

I understand why they have done it, but do not think they should have been allowed to do it. The same reasons could have been used for every BSP club playing tonight but wasn't - what makes them special? I am sure they would have to get approval from the BSP to move the game, this approval should not have been granted and sets a very dangerous precedence. Lets face it, most of us know how to watch Premiership footy over the internet, so I am surprised Woking have asked for their Saturday games to be moved too so their fans can watch Man Utd - it's the same argument.

Can't see the issue anyway?

Giving our injuries an extra day at a time when we are facing 2 games a week surely is in our favour?

I think Paul Cox has done it to give us an extra day off. Plus it may be extra motivation for the player's knowing how our rivals got on.

On the down side it has left us playing 4 gamed in 10 days.

To all the people saying it gives the players an extra day's rest - we have a day less rest before the next game
