Lee Beevers

Legend. Cracked rib 2 weeks ago, dislocated shoulder last Saturday, hit in the face at Lincoln which loosened one of his teeth - and he still plays on. This is the spirit which will make us champions!

...just a headache for him in all honesty Doomy...a couple of asprins will see him alright!

Take my hat off to Lee.

Players that just (though I think he has had more than his fair share recently) get on with it get my respect.

Hope his Mum will send in a sick note for him?!

I thought he was harshly treated at the start of the season by some fans but I've always thought he was quality ever since I first saw him at Boston, he's quickly becoming a stags legend and would prob still be on the pitch with 1 leg, no arms and his head hanging off!!!!

Man of steel. He has showed a great attitude to carry on after all the knocks he has suffered.

Has he been trying to catch Wil e Coyote? Watch out for the ACME explosives and anvil prior to Saturdays game!
The Stags are for life, not just for cup finals. (or Liverpool).

Jokes aside, he deserves the plaudits - it really is something to behold when you happen upon a proper footballer and not some ponce who rolls around the floor in agony when someone smudges his eye liner.

If you want to see Lee as a film star look at his role in Monty Python's Holy Grail...

Can't do the clever linky thing that puts it here (if someone can please do) but the YouTube link is http://youtu.be/zKhEw7nD9C4

Tis but a flesh wound...

Just before the vote I said I would give him MOM but when Murray was announced I couldn't argue with Muzza getting it both where immense today.

Agreed Stoney - he was terrific today! He's really become a key member of the first 11.

Thought that Beevers was MOM as well, but Murray was excellent and Green as usual never stopped running and took his chance very well. Thought Sutton did a steady job at centre back as well considering he has not been getting a run in the team.

He did well but very nearly cost us a goal with a poor error. Not a patch on the other 3 mentioned.

Beev barely put a foot wrong all afternoon. Rock solid and delivered a couple of quality crosses too.
