Premier Sports TV coverage: Is their schedule finalised?

Postby Johnny Rotten » Thu Feb 28, 2013 8:41 am

I see on their web-site they have a list of fixtures they are going to show on their channel. I also note ther is no fixture for the weekend we play at Tamworth on Sat 30th March. Does anyone know if the list on their site the definitive not to be changed or added to list?

The reason for asking is that I can get a train fare at the minute from Landan to Tamworth for between £10-£16 return (well, 2 single tickets), non refundable, on Sat 30th March and wouldn't want to book tickets to then find the fixture is moved from it's current 3pm slot

Anothe thing to consider I guess is ticketing - At Tamworth last season we exceeded their capacity for the fixture and outnumbered the home fans despite the 'official' attendance suggesting otherwise (even the Police outside the ground correctly predicted what the club would announce as the attendance despite them knowing it was a lie!). Considering our current form/run and that Tamworth is a local derby me thinks the same may happen again.......unless they make it all ticket

Thinking of going but would need a seat. Do they have enough?

The last match of the season v Wrexham has surely got to be a contender for Premier Sports too, although Grimsby v Newport is another.

On the Tamworth situation, it's a terrible view if you don't stand towards the back of the bus stop, sorry Away End and there were only approx 100 seats last season. Hope it's not all ticket but you could understand if it was

It would be better if Tamworth gave us the opposite end of the ground. Much bigger. Not a great view from the current away end, similar to Alfreton. Doubt that would happen though.

Feel we will need both ends of ground for this game.

Their fans sit at side of ground. I know where you are coming from but I am not biting.
