Sorry Eggy, Florist I'm 99% sure told us to 'do one'.

Not true eggy, it was the red side who said no, the others said they would listen to any suggestions.

Truth is Dan, neither of them would help, though it is fair to say County did have a partial excuse. I believe that it was only Chesterfield who offered voluntary assistance, as MTFC did to them during their darkest days. Football fans love a rivalry and love to "hate" but the bottom line is that in my time a Stags fan, we have had a closer off field relationship with Chesterfield than with any other club - the two Notts clubs are generally not interested in us, even though many of their supporters come from Mansfield & District.

Notts were willing to let us play there mate, but we would've had to play a lot of games on the Friday night because they were usually at home on the Saturday and they also have the rugby there on a Sunday, but the Conference wouldn't let us play on a Friday night (or Sunday) regularly, only odd occasions.

What was that then Rob? Assuming it was a long time ago?

I thought this thread was predicting York relegation - they lost again today - haven't won in ten - at least.

Looking at the table this could literally come true. How I would love for us to take their place in the FL after their cheat goalie got Green sent off last season. Fingers crossed...

Good. Both Gary Mills are helmets.

That does seem very harsh, so the managers of both clubs that went up last year have gone - whilst 2 of the 3 losing play off teams still have the same manager. Moral of the story - beware of success.
