Captain Fantastic

Adam Murray was immense yesterday. His best performance since coming back! He and the rest of the side were right up for it. Keep that up and we will win the league!

Brilliant performance from Adam, his face at the end showed his dedication to the club.

What a performance. So assured on the ball in midfield. To all the haters: That is why he's first name on the team sheet.

That's what he's there for. That's what he's capable of. That's why we need him. And that's why he's in the side.

I said he was past it a few months back but since Christmas, he has made me eat my words. Yesterday he was outstanding bar one moment of madness, only performance i can recall where he has been better was the second leg of the play offs last season

Fantastic yesterday. I thinlk early season he was average. It could of been down to coming back too soon from his injury or his coaching duties. Now we are seeing the best of him.
Everything seems to be falling into place at the right time. Green is immence , daniel and stevenson have started showing us what they are capable of and Briscoe has started to lool like the Briscoe of old.
Happy days

He hasn't consistently produced as of late, but yesterday was back to the Adam Murray of 2002

To win the league we have to have Marriott, Dempster, Murray, Briscoe and Green all firing at the same time for the rest of the season. That happened yesterday and for me, moved us from being a 'possible' to a 'genuine could be' for the title

His sheer presence on the field and the way he encourages, marshall's and at times demands from the rest of the players is more than enough to warrant his place in the side.

I still think that he to often tries the 'hollywood ball' which costs us possession... But that aside, he's a brilliant captain, a true 100%er and still technically good enough to boss games at times. His form of late has been excellent, if he can stay fit until the end of the season and in this kind of form we won't be far away

Oddly enough when I typed that I was dressed in a green sweater and white shorts, whilst holding a tennis racket!

A great example to all those around him. His lack of match fitness was there for all to see when he came back into the side this season, but he did not hide, just battled on as he has always done.

Some are saying give him a rest. I can't see Muzza wanting to miss a minute of any game though. Remember last season, he had an injection before every game to allow him to play.

I cannot think of any player at our level who I would swap him for.

Muzza has been excellent since a disappointing game against Newport. He is looking after the ball a lot better and cutting down on the number of "glory balls" that go to nobody. He just needs to be careful with his discipline as needless yellow cards could result in a suspension later in the season.

Good on him. I certainly do think anyone can argue with the passion and effort he puts in.

Legs gone or not?

Awesome performance again yesterday. Form back now to last seasons performance. Long may it continue. Probably due a rest, but I can't see him choosing to sit on the bench.
