I hope we come back with all three points.

He didn't with us Costa, he walked away. As for sending JR a birthday card, words fail me.
I totally agree. Like the two veteran centre halves he signed to replace Pearce. They spent most of their time on sick leave.Rob wrote:Amber Andy wrote:Costastag wrote:Amber Andy wrote:He doesn't change. What a load of codswallop. I wonder if the card included the hundreds of thousands of pounds in wages he spaffed on useless players?
So what if they are ! Won't make a blind bit of difference to me.Costastag wrote:Come back at the end of may when stevenage are a league one club and were still in league two

Nothing worse than a bitter Scotsman
I’m going for a Stags and England double both 1-0 wins.

Like your thinking Dan !
Evans joined us as a League 2 club and left us as a League 2 club. What he did in between means diddly squat. He didn't care two hoots about us becoming a League 1 club. It was mostly about him and not our club.Isle of Mansfield wrote:The league doesn’t lie. If you’re honest you’d admit he had us on course for automatic promotion and it was an absolute disaster when he left.
Best manager in many years. We’ve never really recovered from his untimely departure.
At the moment we’re going round in circles, coming close but missing out. That will continue without proper investment.
Don’t blame Clough, blame the lack of funds for new players. It’s so obvious that he’s not getting the money he needs to bring in in the genuine quality you need for promotion. Talk to him privately and you’d get a very different tale to the one he tells in public.
Dan I simply don't understand why Evans has got any significance in the history of our club as he did not complete a full season. He may have had success at Rotherham, but as I say he joined us as a League 2 club and left us a League 2 club.Dan wrote:Good grief.
