Just heard Neville say that if we get France or Germany he would go to a back 5, thoughts on that?

I would have played that system from the start, so it’s a yes from me.

Gee thanks

It was a miserable 2nd half showing, I rushed back from Trent Bridge to watch it, listened to an exciting 1st half on the radio only to then watch a dull, uninspiring 2nd half. Cricket was much more entertaining!

I very much doubt that ;)

Just watched Germany vs Hungary, and Portugal vs France on two screens. Incredible twists and turns, and entertainment, as England's opponents kept changing almost by the minute, indeed it was 4 different opponents in pretty quick succession.

However it's Germany eventually. Germany were pretty poor tonight. Though I watched Germany hammer Portugal last week when they were very impressive.

Will be 50/50 I think next week, anyone's game.

We’re certainly on the right side of the draw! There’s no excuses really.

Prefer playing Germany to France and Portugal. Germany will attack us and give us a chance. Hungary could have been another Iceland.

If we are going to win a tournament then we need to be able to beat the big teams in the knockout stage. England v Germany could be 4-2 or 2-4. Hopefully we will bore them to death in true (old) Italian style and then win 1-0.

Penalties? Could Kane miss, would Henderson take one, would Southgate take one.
You know it's going to happen.

We seem to have quite a few Scottish fans. How about a head count?

It could be difficult ,most are probably keeping their heads down :P but its probably to do with the mining industry

You'll soon be back gloating when we are inevitably knocked out, missing a last minute chance before losing on penalties and giving a player a chance to join Pearce, Batty and Southgate in a Pizza ad.

Pearce, Waddle and Southgate ;)
Hate that advert, should be ashamed profiting from failure :x

Out of France, Portugal or Germany, I’d have been happy with Germany.

We’ll beat them on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Is anyone on Stagsnet an aviation fan? If so, on Tuesday would they be able to let me know how many ‘German Bombers will be in the air’ and from which base the RAF will be flying from to shoot them down?

Has my memory gone or did Batty appear in an updated version with those 3?

Batty was a very good played. Certainly better than some of the central midfielders we have at the moment.

Exactly Musings, Stagone1959 I will see your David Batty and raise you a Geoff Thomas.
