I think he hinted in the video that clubs could not match his wage demands.
Perhaps why he is only initially on a one month's contract.

I don't think he hints at that Pete. He says "it comes down to what other clubs have been offered for free", (ie presumably a loan from a top club who pays their wages), so even if his wage demands were extremely low, they would still be more.

Surely if he was to start with Conrad he would have put Sam Wilson on the bench?

Lots of things.
Agility and reflexes need to be sharp, core strength needs to be in place which is a massive part of dealing with crosses, managing 1v1’s and catching the ball.
Footwork needs to be on point to enable better positioning - which is the most important part of goalkeeping in my opinion.
Also mental fitness is imperative to have command of the area and to make good decisions in key moments.
My only worry with Con is his susceptibility on crosses onto our box and him being rooted to the goal line. Bob would come and punch when he could see the danger taking the pressure off.

My main worry too, but it's a massive worry at this level.
I think the main differnce between the two is Bobby is half a yard quicker in speed of thought with gives him the edge on the two.

watching Bobby over the last few months really exposed Conrad’s weakness for claiming the ball and quick distribution throwing out or passing out
Our time will come

Agreed - Conrad is way to slow off his line too, I think it's more a physical problem than mental.

Do we have a goal keeper coach? ....... and if so, what value is he adding?

Unless he puts Logan on a diet not much value at all

Didn't we get up to 4th in the league with Logan in goal last season? We probably would've gone up with Logan in net if SE didn't leave. Idon't see what the issue is with some on here and Logan. He's good enough to step in to bobbys shoes

It's ok Bobby that's your opinion, mine differs. It's a discussion board and when he plays he'll get my full support, I don't think he's good enough and I've seen first hand earlier in the season that the players body language have little confidence in him.

Someone has a bit of a problem here. A thread about Kwan and all you can do is slate one of our players.

I guess DF is the best judge of that. He sees all the GK's in training and in matches.
I have never seen Sam Wilson - but it would be a big ask throwing a young kid into the team at this point ... especially a goal keeper - the most vulnerable position of all.

Sam is a good young goalkeeper who has been out on loan several times at lower league clubs so it wouldn’t be dropping him into the unknown & being on the bench for us would help aide his progress & development.

Give Lohan a chance for Christ's sake.
Ok, he could do with losing a few pounds, many of us could, but he has done well in the past for us.
Jake Kean made his share of errors too when last with us also had some excellent games, that's goalkeepers at our level.

Maybe Logan has done training and is now better at crosses - He can't just stay rooted aimlessly on his line again, surely?
Hopefully for him, the club and for the team he has a good run in the team and keeps plenty of clean sheets. Bobby's command of his box really was excellent, so a tough act for him to follow.
