Mansfield v Brentford team news
PA Mansfield will be without Iyseden Christie, Scott Sellars and Neil MacKenzie for the clash with Brentford at Griffin Park. Striker Christie is undergoing exploratory surgery to determine the nature of an injury sustained in the 2-1 defeat at home to Wigan. Veteran Sellars is still two weeks away from a comeback with the ankle injury sustained in November's win at home to Colchester, while fellow midfielder MacKenzie remains sidelined for two to three weeks with a knee problem. Martin Rowlands returns to the Brentford squad after recovering from a calf injury. The midfielder has been sidelined for three weeks and was due to make his comeback against Huddersfield on Saturday until the game was postponed. Forward Kevin O'Connor - who scored the only goal in the Bees' home victory against the Stags in December - could also make a comeback after suffering bruising to the head, but strike partner Mark McCammon sits out as he serves a one-match suspension. |
