GAME ON AFTER PITCH INSPECTION

Game on after pitch inspection. Thanks to those who helped cleared the pitch.


MANSFIELD TOWN'S match at home to Grimsby Town will go ahead as intended after the pitch passed an earlier than planned inspection.

Local referee Dave Plowright deemed the pitch playable at 2.30pm today after relentless work by the club's groundstaff.

A pitch inspection will be conducted at 3pm today ahead of our match against Grimsby Town this evening (7.45pm).

Ground staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly to try and clear snow from the pitch this morning

AFTER a 11am pitch inspection, the match referee has decided to have another look at the playing surface at the One Call Stadium at 3pm today before making a decision.

The Stags say that it is currently looking 'favourable'.

There was a covering of snow on Sunday night and Monday morning in the Nottinghamshire area and with sub zero temperatures, the Notts club decided to call a precautionary pitch inspection this morning
