Mansfield are resigned to losing the central defender after he attracted the interest of a host of clubs. Naylor has enjoyed trials at Fulham and Championship duo Derby and Burnley over the last couple of months, while Bournemouth also had a bid rejected for his services last month. Derby are now believed to have agreed a fee with Mansfield for the 20-year-old and they are expected to secure his signature. Naylor is believed to have impressed Rams boss Nigel Clough during his training stint at Pride Park and he has moved to tie up a move for the player ------------------------------ Eyes on Stags ace Clubs tracking Mansfield's Luke O'Neill By Graeme Bailey, Tweet me: @skygraemebailey, October 14, 2011 3:32pm A host of clubs are considering a move for Mansfield Town ace Luke O'Neill, skysports.com understands. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_7241283,00.html 20-year-old O'Neill came through the youth ranks at Leicester and made his league debut for The Foxes late in 2009. He left big-spending Leicester last summer after sinking down the pecking order and joined Mansfield. But it has taken little time for O'Neill, who has been capped by England at youth level, to make an immediate impact. The attacking full-back has scored three goals in just 14 games, and now a number of clubs are tracking his progress. The likes of Coventry, Doncaster, Derby, Huddersfield and Notts County are amongst the clubs keeping close tabs on him. O'Neill signed a one-year deal with The Stags when he joined in the summer ---------------- |
