TV HIGHLIGHTS DEAL TO BE SEALED ON MONDAY?

The News of the World claims that a deal will be agreed on Monday between the Nationwide League and ITV1, for ITV1 to show highlights of Divisions 1, 2 and 3 on Monday nights. The deal will be worth £1million for each of the next 2 years.
If true (a big 'if' perhaps) , this will come as a great relief to fans who have suffered inconsistent coverage of the lower divisions from Sky this season. The article did not give any details of regional ITV1 coverage. Posted by Martin Shaw |
