EBBSFLEET NOW 7 APRIL, WHILE OXFORD GAME MAY MOVE
4th February 2009 22:52

The Stags game at home to Ebbsfleet has been re-arranged from to Saturday 21 February to Tuesday 7 April, as Ebbsfleet are still in the FA Trophy. Full details at mansfieldtown.net, here.

There is a possibility that the Stags will still play a game on Saturday 21 February. If York beat Kidderminster in the FA Trophy next Wednesday, then York will not be able to play Oxford on 21 February. In that case, the Stags game at Oxford, currently scheduled for Tuesday 24 February will be moved to Saturday 21 February. Full details at mansfieldtown.net, here.

If Forest Green beat Stevenage in FA Trophy Round 4 on 21 February, then the Stags home game against Forest Green on Saturday 14 March will have to be moved, as Forest Green would be in FA Trophy action on that day. - Martin

Meanwhile, in a surprising twist, Saturday's game against York has not been moved despite Tuesday's postponement of York v Kidderminster in the FA Trophy. Normally FA Trophy takes precedence over Conference. Hence when York v Kidderminster in the FA Trophy was postponed on Saturday, it was immediately switched to Tuesday, forcing the postponement of Woking v Kidderminster in the Conference. Then when York v Kidderminster in the FA Trophy was postponed again on Tuesday, a switch to Saturday should have happened. But instead, it has been moved to next Wednesday, despite the fact that Kidderminster already have a agame on Monday! - Martin
