JOHN Coleman admits he is determined to steer Accrington Stanley to their first win at Mansfield Town in just over half a century.

The last time Stanley recorded a victory at Field Mill was 51 years ago on, ironically, December 29 in the old Division Three (North).

Last season, the Reds grabbed a 2-2 draw against Mansfield, but Coleman is aiming to go one better in tomorrow's League Two match after seeing his side triumph against Grimsby on Boxing Day.

"We went to Mansfield twice last season and were a bit unfortunate to lose there in the FA Cup," said the Reds boss.

"In the game we drew 2-2, we possibly could have lost 8-5. Ian Dunbavin was in inspired form that day.

"But we'll go there with a lot of confidence. Our away form has been quite good and we have to go there and play the way we can play."
