McAllister loan to be extended
CHAD.co.uk, 4 Oct 2007
BILLY Dearden has agreed with Sheffield Wednesday and Sean McAllister to keep the young midfielder for a second month on loan.
His first month ends at Rotherham this Saturday and he had his best game yet in a Mansfield shirt in the midweek defeat against Milton Keynes Dons.

"He has still got another game so there is no great rush but I do want him to stay to stay for at least another month," said Stags boss Dearden.

"Brian Laws has agreed we can keep him and the lad wants to stay.
"I though he was excellent on Tuesday night. The little fellow did extremely well. He is a terrier but showed he can play football.

"I have a lot of time for the lad. He wants to play football and we are giving him that opportunity here.

"Sean has enjoyed himself so far and I don't see any problems in extending his loan.

"I can take him for up to three months but e are just taking it month by month at the moment depending on what else develops."
