Rundle Signs

Manager Steve Parkin made his first new signing of the summer after former Mansfield winger Adam Rundle put pen to paper.

Rundle 21, who signed a one-year deal began his career with Darlington before moving on to Carlisle United where he went on to make 34 appearances before moving to Ireland to play for Dublin City.

It was whilst he was in Ireland he played along side former Stags boss Carlton Palmer and when the former England man returned to take up the gaffers job at Field Mill, Rundle signed for Mansfield.

Steve Parkin believes Rundle will be a good addition to the squad and one who will be looking to make his mark.

"He is a young player and he has a point to prove to a few people.I am sure he'll be looking to do that next season and he will be a good signing for us."
