Local Mansfield based company Perry Electrical Ltd are delighted to again get behind Mansfield Town Football Club and show their support by agreeing to be the Club's main sponsor. This move marks a continuation of the sponsorship deal that has been running at the club for the previous two years.

"This deal is a continuation of the existing deal that ran initially for two years." Managing Director Andrew Perry said.

"As a company we were more than happy at the response from our association with the Football Club.

"Although I realised that working closely with a professional football club would be good for business I was amazed at the expansion over the two year period, which was largely due to the exposure on regional television and Sky Sports whilst covering Mansfield Town football matches. This really helped to raise the profile of the company allowing to expand nationally."

The partnership between the club and Perry Electrical Ltd also helped in the 'peer to peer ' networking essential for businesses to realise their true potential. Helping them win three major contracts in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire which in turn has allowed the company to build a workforce of forty full time staff from the local Mansfield area and offer them gainful employment for the foreseeable future.

"Three months before the end of last season we realised as a company that the sponsorship was due to come to an end and wanted to be first to lodge our interest in the continuation of the partnership. This was at a time when no other companies had shown interest so a deal was quickly arrived at. When other companies did show an interest they were offered other areas where they could get in involved with the football club.

"I would just like to thank the chairman for having the foresight to back a local company keeping employment in the local economy. I believe this shows Mr Haslam's commitment to Mansfield Town Football Club and Mansfield the community."

The new shirt deal will see Perry Electrical publicly backing the Club, the Chairman, the Manager and the team for another year, something that Andy Perry is really looking forward to:

" I believe that the manager is putting together a really exciting young squad, building a quality team around the likes of Giles Coke, Simon Brown, Alex John-Baptiste etc. and this is breeding a lot of anticipation and excitement in and around the club.

"Being involved with the club at associate director level I have had a lot of dealings with the staff at the club on an almost day to day basis and can honestly say that the mood around the place is tremendous, with everybody's hard work being rewarded with a potentially good season ahead. It is through the hard work of everybody at the club from the ground staff through to the press office and commercial department as well as the players that have made the relationship between Perry Electrical and the Football club so successful and I would like to thank each and every one of them for their unconditional support.

"Long may it continue!"
