Stockport County have completed the signing of Rob Clare despite strong interest from Mansfield Town. Speaking exclusively to stockportcounty.com Clare said: "I've spoken to Carlton a couple of times recently and Mansfield offered me a good deal.But i still live locally and for family reasons,i've chosen to come back to Edgeley Park.I didn't really want to leave the club in the first place so i'm delighted to be back.It's a disappointment for everyone that County are in the bottom division but the aim has now got to be to go forward and bring back some success,hopefully a promotion." |
