Evening Post, 08 September 2004
A Date has been set for Liam Lawrence's tribunal to decide the fee Mansfield will receive from Sunderland for the player's signature.

The tribunal will take place in Manchester next Wednesday, although a venue has not yet been confirmed.

Stags boss Keith Curle hopes Mansfield will receive in the region of £250,000 for the player.

Lawrence, who injured his ankle in pre-season, has made six appearances for the Black Cats so far.

He is yet to find the target, but has already picked up a booking.

The midfielder came on as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat against Reading last Tuesday.

He played at right back for Sunderland's reserves in a 1-0 away defeat against Middlesbrough on Thursday.

Lawrence has yet to play a full 90 minutes for the first team, coming off in three games and coming on as a substitute three times.
