MOORE WITH ENGLAND SEMI-PRO
11th May 2002 12:37

New centre-back signing Neil Moore is linking up with the England semi-professional squad today for next week's Home Nations series.
Less than a week after agreeing a two-year deal with Stags, Moore is off on international duty. The 29-year-old defender, who is joining from Conference club Telford United, meets up with his England semi-pro team-mates today for the tournament at Kettering and Boston.
The first game is against Wales on Tuesday, the second against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday and the last against Scotland next Saturday.
"I'm really looking forward to it," said Moore. "I already have two caps from games against the USA and Holland earlier this season, having first played for them against a Highland League select side at the end of last season, which you don't get a cap for.
"It's a good standard of football to be fair, though you can tell which players are full-time and which are part-time with their fitness levels."
