Mansfieldtown.net reports that defenders Tony Vaughan and Jamie Clarke have been released on a 'Free Transfer' this week.
Other members of the Stags squad who were released are strikers Chris Beardsley, Craig Mitchell, Andy White, Iyseden Christie, Mark Hurst and Laurent D'Jaffo. Mansfield Town FC would like to thank them all for their commitment to the club this season and wish them the best for next season. The Players to be offered new contracts are: Bobby Hassell, Rhys Day, Dave Artell, Jake Buxton, Luke Dimech, Liam Lawrence, Craig Disley, Neil MacKenzie, Tom Curtis, Lee Williamson, Junior Mendes. In addition Adam Eaton is offered a contract. They are all mulling over the terms of the new contracts throughout the Summer break - an answer from each of the players is expected within thirty days. Kevin Pilkington, Alex John-Baptiste, Wayne Corden and Colin Larkin are already in ongoing contracts. ----------------- Mansfield 103.2 reports that in addition youth teamers Peter Ryalls, Andrew Jones and James Coates have been informed they won't be kept on for a third and final year. ----------------- |
