Curle: We are ready

MANSFIELD boss Keith Curle admits his side are primed and ready to explode into action as they prepare for a play-off showdown with Northampton.

He insists his side's preparations could not have been better as they target an immediate return to Division Two after relegation last term.

He said: "The lads have looked really good this week in training and that gives me a great deal of confidence.

"There has been a sharpness about our play and passing, which is a good sign.

Meanwhile Northampton manager Colin Calderwood knows his players have nothing to lose.

The Cobblers are just delighted to have a chance of reaching the final after a great run of form saw them squeeze into the top seven ahead of Yeovil and Oxford.

"The players deserve the chance to be in the play-offs for their efforts over the season," said Colin Calderwood.
