Teamtalk reports that: Greenacre snubs Stags return
Mansfield boss Keith Curle has revealed that Stoke striker Chris Greenacre has turned down the chance to return to the club on loan. Greenacre - who joined the Stags more than four years ago following a successful loan spell from Manchester City - has scored just two goals in his 16 appearances for the Potters this season. With Richard Pacquette returning to QPR after the completion of his loan spell, Curle had hoped to tempt Greenacre back to Field Mill, but although Stoke approved the arrangement, the player has declined the offer. Curle said: "I'd been tracking Chris Greenacre for about three months but there are other players I'm looking at as well." |
