DIMECH IN MALTA SQUAD

Mansfield defender Luke Dimech has been called up by Malta ahead of their European Championship qualifier against Israel. But whether the centre-back makes the trip to the Middle East for the Group One clash on Wednesday will be determined by the extent of his recovery from knee cartilage problems. The injury has restricted Dimech to just three appearances for the Stags so far this season, although Mansfield player-manager Keith Curle is expected to open discussions over a possible extension to the player's contract which is due to expire on Sunday. |
